Shed Antler Hunting

Service Description

We will systematically introduce you and your canine to shed antler hunting. Whether you want to compete or want to use shed antler hunting as an enriching and fun way to get outdoors with your canine, this class will get you started on the right paw. In this 6-week class we will teach you: - How to build hunting intensity and independence - How to read your canine's body language - How train a reliable retrieve on different size antlers We will also discuss NASDA trials and what you need to know to compete in this fun and fast growing sport with your canine. This class will be held indoors and outdoors, weather permitting. *No retrieve experience necessary however, a canine inclined to pick items up is helpful. This class is suitable for reactive dogs, puppies 6+ months (and finished teething), those looking to get started in NASDA trials, or those looking for new ideas for enrichment. *Canine's must be crated in our crating area, or in their vehicle between turns. *Instructor: Tamara Champagne
