Familiar routines, experienced handlers, and care that respects the work you’ve put in.
When You Can’t Be There, Let Us Be Their Constant
You’ve worked hard to build your dog’s training, routine, and behavior.
Why risk undoing it with chaotic boarding facilities, overcrowded daycares, or well-meaning relatives who ignore the rules?
CDT’s Structured Boarding is here for when life takes you elsewhere — vacations, work trips, emergencies, or just a weekend to reset. Your dog stays in a calm, low-stress environment with:
-
Familiar structure and daily routines
-
Training-informed care by experienced staff
-
Personalized enrichment and downtime
-
Exercise and decompression walks on 40 private acres
This isn’t basic boarding. It’s peace of mind.
Structured Boarding is only available to current and past CDT students who have completed a training program, private lesson package, or group class.
(Or, by referral from another trainer).
Why? Because we know your dog.
And more importantly — your dog knows the system.
What's Included:
✅ Routine That Feels Familiar
Your dog follows a predictable daily schedule aligned with how they’ve been trained: calm handling, appropriate expectations, and no chaos.
🐾 Daily Exercise & Enrichment
From decompression walks to breed-appropriate activities, we keep your dog fulfilled without the over stimulation.
💤 Rest & Regulation
No overcrowded playgroups, no constant barking and pacing. Dogs are given the space, quiet, and rest they need to stay mentally healthy.
📣 Proactive, Professional Care
Handled by trainers and team members who understand behavior, not just dog-sitting basics. We don’t guess.
🛏️ Crate Comfort Is a Must
All dogs must be fully crate trained and comfortable sleeping in a crate with the door closed. If your dog barks, panics, or vocalizes excessively, this program isn’t the right fit and they’ll be sent home for everyone’s wellbeing.
💉 Vaccination Requirements
Dogs must be current on core vaccinations as recommended by your veterinarian, including:
-
Distemper
-
Parvovirus
-
Adenovirus
We do not require Bordetella. If your vet recommends it, please ensure it is administered at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.
🦠 Deworming Protocol
All dogs must be treated with Panacur (fenbendazole) at least 2 weeks before boarding to reduce the risk of transmitting parasites such as giardia. This is a non-negotiable health standard to protect all dogs on site.
🤒 No Sick Dogs, Period
If your dog is showing signs of illness — including diarrhea (even intermittent), vomiting, lethargy, or cough — they must stay home. We do not accept dogs with active or recurring symptoms, even if they seem minor.
