Canine Courtesies (Jul-Aug)
Common canine courtesies you'll be proud to show off
Service Description
You put in all the work during your puppy foundations...now what? By now, you'll have noticed that your puppy is more energetic, is more interested in the outside world, and might be "forgetting" cues they would normally know well. Welcome to your teenager puppy! This is the time when our puppies are looking for more independence, autonomy and testing boundaries. Join our Canine Courtesies class to learn how to avoid the most common canine training issues we get called for. Being dragged down the street, having your canine mug your house guests, or barking at other dogs and people does not need to be your normal. Our experience working with clients in private training sessions to correct problem behavior has shaped this class, and we're excited to share with you the skills, strategies and tools to help you avoid problems before they start. We will cover the following topics in this 6-week class: - Loose leash walking skills - Door manners and polite greetings - Reliable recalls - Neutrality to people and other dogs *This class is not suitable for reactive or aggressive canines.
